RENO >> The Lakeport Basketball Club sent six teams to the 13th annual Reno Jam On It Memorial Day AAU Tournament on Monday and three ended up placing.
Both the varsity boys — Ryan Damiata, Max De Leon, Tanner Hutton, Austin Davis, Danny Beard, Christian Rivera, Brady McGuire and Josh Damiata — and the varsity girls — Corin Alakszay, Camille Donald, Ashlynn Gudmundson, Valerie Hutton, Joy Ingalls, Emily Keiser, Kortnie Reynolds, Kiana Richardson, McKenzie Turner, Kylie Udy and Mya Wofford — finished 2-2 and placed second in their respective brackets.
The junior varsity boys won four of their games and ended up third in their bracket. Team members were Rodrigo Lupercio, Darius Ford, Brady McGuire, Seth Mix, TJ Marcks, Josh Damiata and Mike Taliaferro.
