LAKE COUNTY >> Starting today, the Lake County Association of Realtors will open the doors to an assortment of homes in Lake County as part of their annual Lake County’s Open House Extravaganza. Buyers will be able to tour a wide variety of homes throughout the county. The county-wide open house experience will take place on June 10, July 8, and August 12.
Homes that will be shown are posted on www.lakecountyopenhouses.com, the website is also a place where open houses are posted throughout the year. The schedule time is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but homebuyers should check each home listed on the web page to verify the advertised hours and to see a list of homes that will be open. House prices can range from $100,000 to over $1,000,000. The Association lists Lake Couty as relaxed, traffic-free — a break from urban living.
Those interested are encouraged to plan their schedule accordingly when viewing homes. The number of homes one can expect to view will depend on how closely the homes are that one is expecting to see.
“Lake County is rather large and it can take 45 minutes to one hour to go from one end of the county to the other,” the Association said as posted on the website. “Driving from Hidden Valley Lake to Lakeport takes about 45 minutes. Going from Hidden Valley Lake to Kelseyville is around 30 minutes. The City of Clearlake to Lakeport is 35 to 40 minutes. Clearlake to Clearlake Oaks is about 15 minutes and Clearlake Oaks to Lucerne is about 15 minutes.”
The Association addressed that due to Hidden Valley Lake’s closed gated community, realtors will be at Hidden Valley Lake Realty so people may access homes. The location is 17568 Spruce Grove Road, Suite A.
