MADERA >> Look for a giant car count Saturday when the North State Modified Series visits the Madera Speedway. Action gets underway with the B-mains at 5 p.m.

Joining the North State Modified Series, which last raced May 27 in Eureka where Kelseyville’s Darrin Sullivan scored his first NSMS main event victory, are the Lucas Oil Modifieds, the USAC HPD Midgets, the Super Hobby Stock Series, the Legends of Kearney Bowl and the CSS 360 Super Modifieds.

While the B-main officially kick off the night’s racing action, early birds won’t be bored as there will be activity on the track all afternoon leading up to the NSMS main event. Opening ceremonies begin at 6 p.m.

Kelseyville’s Darrin Knight is the two-time defending NSMS points champion.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $13 for senior citizens and military personnel, and $7 for children ages 6-12. Kids 5 and younger get in free.
