This Sunday at 10 a.m., we will be having our first outdoor service of the summer. We welcome as guests the Holy Spirit Men’s Golf Retreat from Santa Rosa, who come to Lake County every June for a weekend of golf, fishing and fellowship. We also remember our pastor of 20 years (1989-2009) the Rev. Lynn Freele, who passed away this January. We will be incorporating her memorial into our regular service, celebrating her life and looking at the lessons we can learn from it. We would like to invite anyone who knew Lynn from her work at Galilee, Yuba College, or the hospital chaplaincy to join us.
We are also encouraging everyone to wear either Hawaiian shirts or tie-dye. Music will be some of Lynn’s favorites, played on guitar and mandolin.
