On Wednesday afternoon, Redwood Empire Food Bank received a $200,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation in an effort to continue its fight against hunger in Lake County. All funds will be used to support food distribution through three of the Bank’s programs, which are the BackPack, School Pantry, and Produce Pantry. The programs provide weekly, year-round nourishment to over 3,000 people in the County.
