A new wave of Upper Lake High School girls basketball talent was on the floor Wednesday evening during an open gym. Girls entering the seventh grade through high school participated in the 90-minute workout led by Nick Williamson. Upper Lake’s varsity squad has some big shoes to fill in the coming seasons now that the school’s second all-time leading scorer, Natalie Karlsson, has graduated.
