Father’s Day service
On Saturday, June 18 a “Father’s Day Celebration in the Park” with an outdoor worship service will be available. It will be hosted by the Clearlake Oaks and Clearlake Community Methodist Churches. The event is located at 12487 The Plaza, in Clearlake Oaks (behind Red & White Market). Barbecue and music on the plaza will be followed after the service that will begin at 11 a.m.
LCC special speakers
Lakeport Christian Center (LCC) will host special speakers in July. On Sunday, July 2 in the 10:30 a.m. Service Mr Rob Alves, Lakeport Christian Center Board Member, Terrace Middle School and Clearlake High School Teacher, will be speaking. On July 9 in the 10:30 a.m. Service Rev. Burton Jernigan, LCC youth pastor and sound/video tech will be speaking. LCC is located near the Fairgrounds at 455 S Forbes Street. One-night challenge
On Saturday, July 8, a one-night event called “The Blueprint: God’s GPS” will take place at the Clearlake Senior Community Center at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited regardless of religious affiliations.
