LAKEPORT >> This year Konocti Christian Academy (KCA) donated their chapel offerings to Lake County Helping Hands (LCHH), an outreach of food distribution to the needy of the County.

All funds received by LCHH are used to purchase food items at a very reduced rate through the Redwood Empire Food Bank.

As a school, the students and staff contributed $500, and presented the check to Lalo and Patricia, the directors, during the final chapel on June 2.

In the last eleven years, KCA has donated more than $8,000 to local and international organizations to help with physical, educational, and spiritual needs.

KCA is located on the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeport and continues to offer quality Christian education for students in Kindergarten through eighth grade, which includes challenging academics, high standards in character, Biblical training, and a low teacher-to-student ratio.

For more information, call 262-1KCA, email at office@kcaeagles.com, or visit www.konoctichristianacademy.com.
