LAKE COUNTY >> The Lake County Sheriff’s Activity League is offering kayaking for students ages 11-18 on Tuesday and again on June 27. Participants will meet at the Highland Springs dam at 9 a.m. Eighteen-year-olds must still be in high school.
You may sign up for one or both outings. Kayaks, life vests, paddles and supervision are provided. Participants should wear sunscreen, a hat and bring drinking water and a snack.

Passing league set
LAKE COUNTY >> Junior varsity and varsity football teams from all five of the county’s high schools are participating in the annual passing league that gets underway July 10 at Middletown High School.
The four-week-long league takes place on Monday evenings and rotates around the county. Action starts at 5:30 p.m. all four Mondays.
The league shifts to Lower Lake on July 17, moves to Kelseyville on July 24, and finishes up at Lakeport on July 31.
Fans are invited to attend and there is no admission.

LAKEPORT >> You can register your child for the Konocti Youth Soccer League 2017 season online at www.konoctisoccer.com.
New players must have a certified copy of their birth certificate to verify age. The cost is $60 for the first player in a family and $55 each for all other family members. Uniforms cost $40.
Volunteer coaches and paid referees are also needed.
Tennis in K’ville
KELSEYVILLE >> If you want to improve your tennis game and have fun in the process, the Konocti Junior Tennis League is just the thing for you.
The league, open to players between the ages of 8-18, begins its summer program on Wednesday and meets every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. through the first week of August at the Gard Street tennis courts in Kelseyville.
