SAN FRANCISCO >> Metallica lead guitarist Kirk Hammett has trimmed the price of his Sea Cliff mansion in San Francisco by $2 million to $14 million.
The four bedroom, four-and-a-half bath property encompasses 4,180 square feet. It features a grand spiral staircase, manicured garden, and sweeping views of the Pacific and Marin Headlands among many other amenities.
The home was purchased in 2005 for $5.7 million, according to public records. Mark Levinson with Pacific Union International is the current listing agent.
