UKIAH >> Nine divisions of cars packed a night’s worth of racing excitement into the Ukiah Speedway on Saturday on a warm night in Ukiah.
Leading the way were the Pro-4 Modifieds as Andy Leuzinger took the checkered flag in front of Marty Lewis, Johnny Barker, Eric Kaas and Sammy Nuno in the main event. Barker won the trophy dash while Nuno was first in the heat race.
Limited Modifieds
Erick Ray won the Limited Modifed main event in front of Jackson Long and Ian Elliot. Elliot won the heat race.
Taco Bell bombers
Terry Pittman won the main event in the Taco Bell bombers division, crossing the finish line in front of Bob Mook, R.J. Randall, Dave Land and Josh Morrison. Randall won the trophy dash and the first heat race. Pittman won the second heat race.
In the bomber B-main event, Rick Dickerson took top honors in front of Tim McCann and Ron Portlock. McCann won the heat race.
Jammers
It was a busy and productive night for David Rogers in the Jammers main event as he won both the main event and the heat race. In the main event, Rogers took the checkered flag in front of Raymond Taylor, Amber Robertson, Elizabeth Ingalls and Gene O’Dell Sr.
Jr. Jammers
Christian Sanchez drove his car to victory in the heat race and main event in the Jr. Jammers division.
Legends
Jadon Fisher crossed the finish line first in the Legends main event, finishing ahead of Colby Furia, Darrick Crayford, Dave Land and Carlee Austin. Aidan Daniels, Dylan Washburn, Kylie Daniels, Cole Brown and Daineil Whitley rounded out the top 10.
Crayford won the trophy dash, Brown claimed the first heat and Austin won the second heat
Jalopies
Eugene Nacianseno won the Jalopies main event, beating Tommy Massey, Wayne Hunt, Johnny Small and Laura Hunt to the finish line. Hunt won the heat race.
Bandoleros
Justin Sabol took the checkered flag in the Bandoleros main event. Raymond Taylor came in second and Lane Anderson was third. Taylor won the heat race.

Local racing action resumes Saturday at the Lakeport Speedway with a racing card featuring Limited Modifieds, Jammers, Taco Bell bombers, Legends, Bandoleros and the T&T Towing Jalopies.
A reminder to all racing fans that Independence Day racing and fireworks are coming up at both the Lakeport and Ukiah tracks. On July 1, the Lakeport Speedway will host the annual Kelseyville Lumber Deak Lyndall Memorial featuring special guest announcer Justin Briggs. On July 2, action shifts to the Ukiah Speedway for racing and fireworks. The fireworks are sponsored by Lake County Tribal Health, Mendo Lake Credit Union and Friedman’s Home Improvement.
Ticket prices are $15 for adults $12 for senior citizens and students, and $8 for children ages 5-11 and first responders. Fans can still purchase the July Party Pack, which includes five nights of racing plus a choice of Independence Day fireworks at Lakeport or Ukiah for a discounted price of $45 for adults, $35 for senior citizens and students, and $25 for children.
