Lower Lake High School’s varsity girls basketball team earned a share of the North Central League I title in 2016-17 and the Trojans return many of their key players next season, including Aleia Milano, Vanessa Hughes and Samantha Caires, among others. All of those players and many others were on the court Tuesday evening during an open workout at the new gym. Lower Lake tied Kelseyville for the NCL I championship last season, both teams finishing one game ahead of Clear Lake in one of the best league races in many years.
