BUCKINGHAM >> Junior golfers are invited to take part in the annual Buckingham Junior Golf Clinic program under the direction of Buckingham PGA head golf professional Ted Mattila.

The one-hour clinic takes place each week on Tuesday evenings beginning at 5 p.m. at Buckingham Golf and Country Club. Juniors age 17 and younger can attend for $5 per clinic. The clinics run through Aug. 15.

Call the Buckingham pro shop at 279-4863 and ask for Ted or Mark for more information.

Mattila has conducted junior golf clinics since 1992 and has been honored by the North Coast Chapter PGA three times with the Junior Golf Leader of the Year award. Mattila also has been recognized with the Northern California PGA Section Junior Golf Award. Since 1986, he has conducted junior golf clinics at three different facilities in Northern California.
