The Lakeport Women’s Civic Club announced the names of the lucky winners of this year’s $1,000 vocational scholarships. LWCC takes great pride in recognizing and helping to support Lake County youth that are interested in vocational careers. This year’s recipients are Makenzie Smith of Middletown High School who plans to attend Shasta College to study Dental Hygiene and Johnathon Martinez of Lower Lake High School who plans to study Administration of Justice at either College of the Redwoods or Woodland College.
