MIDDLETOWN >> Lake County Websites & Computer Repair in Middletown will be holding a computer workshop on Saturday July 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The course will focus on “Safety on the Internet — To Click or NOT to Click?”

In this workshop will address how to:

Avoid Viruses and other Malware — Learn how to be smart on the internet and not get unwanted programs on your computer.

Keep your Computer up to date — Learn about Anti-Virus programs, what programs to update and what never to click on.

How your Computer gets Infected — Both Macs and PC’s can get infected.

Avoid Scams — Learn to stay clear of the latest scams to steal your money and info.

The workshop will be directed by Mark Rudiger, the owner of Lake County Websites & Computer Repair. He has over 20 years of experience installing, trouble-shooting, and working with computers.

During the course of his daily work as a computer repair tech and website designer, Rudiger has been repeatedly asked to offer this kind of workshop. He has now dedicated a complete website just for Computer Training at www.markrudiger.com .

If you have a laptop, you may bring it along and connect to the high-speed internet. However, your own computer is not necessary. Rudiger’s laptop screen will be projected on a 120” screen.

The workshop will be held at 15642 Armstrong Street in Middletown in the Jazzercise Center (two blocks behind the post office).
