Lake County Fire Protection District crews and Clearlake Police arrived moments after a Clearlake resident lost control of her vehicle, failing to make a sharp curve on Olympic Drive Tuesday afternoon. The vehicle struck a large boulder. Responders arriving on the scene feared the accident could have had a fatal result. Fire personnel found that the unidentified driver had been knocked to the passenger seat.
