Upper Lake High School was the site of an open field for soccer players on Thursday evening and several took advantage of the opportunity under the supervision of the Cougars’ new girls soccer coach, Daniella Santana, a 2008 Upper Lake High graduate. Santana and her players don’t have long to wait as the first official day of practice for the 2017 season is Aug. 14.
