The annual summer passing league for Lake County’s varsity and junior varsity football teams completed its third week on Monday evening at Kelseyville High School. Although not all the starting quarterbacks were present for the 7-on-7 drills in the varsity division, backups stepped in and had the opportunity to show off their skills. The passing league wraps up next Monday in Lakeport beginning at 5:30 p.m. Most of the county’s teams will then take a week off before the official first day of practice for the 2017 season on Aug. 7. The first weekend for games is Aug. 25-26.
