Now that’s a workout
Eddie Crandell pulls Upper Lake fullback/defensive end Jacob Kalawaia during an open field workout last week at Upper Lake High School. It was one of many sworkout stations set up by the Cougars. This one uses a giant rubber band that is affixed around the waist of two players, who then take turns pulling each other up and down the field. You can catch all of Lake County’s high school football teams in action Monday during the final summer passing league workout at Clear Lake High School in Lakeport. Action begins at 5:30 p.m.
