It was the Lake County Junior Golf Championship, not the Canadian Open, even if a flock of Canada geese made themselves right at home on Tuesday morning during play in the 24th annual tournament at Adams Springs Golf Course on Cobb Mountain. While the geese certainly enjoyed the water at Adams’ pond along the ninth hole, especially on one of the hottest days of the year, they could have at least respected the ‘new sod’ sign on the ninth fairway.
