Back for a fifth season as head coach of the Lower Lake High School varsity football team, Justin Gaddy and the Trojans are back on the gridiron as the countdown to the 2017 season is underway. Lower Lake is coming off a solid campaign in 2016 and is looking to contend for a North Central League I championship this year. The Trojans tied Kelseyville for third place in the league standings a year ago while securing an at-large berth in the North Coast Section Division IV playoffs. Lower Lake’s first taste of action will come in the Lake County Scrimmage on Aug. 18 at Middletown. The Trojans’ first game is Aug. 25 against De Anza in Cupertino.
