Photos by Dave Faries — Lake County Publishing Results are in from the 2017 edition of Grillin’ on the Green, a culinary competition benefitting Westside Community Park in Lakeport. Judges Brian Martin, Christine DePasquale and Dave Faries gave first place to Jesse Richardson and the Beefcakes. They selected Sutter Lakeside as Rookie of the Year. In People’s Choice voting, first place went to Sutter Lakeside. Delta Iota Tau took second and Jesse Richardson and the Beefcakes came in third. Richardson’s team ran out of their sides before the competition ended. Here, Kipp Knorr works the grill for one of a dozen competing teams.
