LAKEPORT >> Tickets are now on sale for the seventh annual Cardinal Sports Night fundraiser on Sept. 9 at the Lake County Fairgrounds.

Sponsored by the CLHS Sports Foundation, the event raised a record $25,278 a year ago. Proceeds benefit Clear Lake High School’s sports teams. Since the event began in 2011 a total of $155,902 has been raised.

Tickets for this year’s event are on sale at Umpqua Bank, Plaza Paints and Linda’s Hallmark in Lakeport. The cost is $25 preseale and $30 at the door. Individuals, groups or businesses can also purchase a table for $400. That price includes eight tickets, a prime seating location, a limited selection of beer and wine, and snacks. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be a silent auction, basket raffles and a coaches competition.
