MIDDLETOWN >> Middletown High School’s section-winning football team of 1997 will be honored on the 20th anniversary of its historic season during halftime of the Mustangs’ homecoming game with Clear Lake on Oct. 13 at Bill Foltmer Field.
Players from the 1997 are asked to send a Facebook message to Nyla Norris if they plan on attending.
Alumni from coach Bill Foltmer’s other teams are also invited to attend the homecoming celebration.
Foltmer’s first season at Middletown was in 1985. He is opening his 33rd year with the Mustangs tonight when they host Hercules in a non-league game. Junior varsity action kicks off at 5:30 p.m.
