About a dozen walkers took part in the 10th annual Lake County AIDS Walk Saturday at Library Park in Lakeport. The event, though small in size, was big on heart and raised more than $7,000 for the Community Care HIV/AIDS Program in Lower Lake. Among the walkers was a contingent from Service Employees International Union (SEIU). There was a small festival in the park with several vendor booths and free HIV testing during the 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. walk. Music was provided by the Tattooed Cherries. - Ken R.
