Students learn, have fun at camp

Camp Discovery, a free day camp for the children of Lake County by the Lioness volunteers, was held at the Clear Lake State Park over the weekend. Saturday included 1st, 2nd and 3rd Graders and on Sunday 4th and 5th Graders. They participated in events such as a scavenger hunt, a challenge course, face painting, games, learned about nutrition, arts and crafts, first aid and more. The Kelseyville Fire Department provided a fire truck on Saturday and an ambulance on Sunday and the children we able to get in both vehicles and learn all about them.
