COBB >> Brett Whitaker of Kelseyville scored a hole-in-one on the 125-yard par-3 second hole Monday at Adams Springs Golf Course on Cobb Mountain.
Whitaker aced the hole using a 9-iron. He also has previously aced the other two par-3 holes at Adams Springs, the fourth and seventh holes. The late George Hoberg Jr. is the only other golfer known to have aced all three par-3 holes on the course.
Whitaker was partnered with his wife, Glendee, during Monday’s memorable round.
