KELSEYVILLE >> From maintaining a 4.25 GPA throughout his time at Kelseyville High School, being class president for the past three years, placing 15th at the California state cross country meet as a Sophomore, Andre Williams is always looking for ways to broaden his horizons.

He has been a member of both jazz and concert band, and also produced his own piano CD last year.

For the 2017-18 school year, Williams was accepted into the Sonoma Academy, thanks in part to a donation from the Konocti Lioness Club.

The scholarship covers two months of the school’s $13,100 tuition. Williams has set up a gofundme account to help with the cost of attending the selective academy.
