UPPER LAKE >> A Hidden Valley Lake man suffered severe injuries in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday afternoon.
Randall P. Listman, 64, was transported by REACH helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital after his motorcycle slammed into a dirt embankment on Highway 29 near Tule Lake Road, near the Highway 20 traffic circle.
According to California Highway Patrol reports, Listman was traveling north at an unknown speed when the motorcycle veered to the right and careened off the road. Investigators have not yet determined the cause, but issued a statement saying that drugs or alcohol were not factors.
The accident took place at approximately 1:15 p.m. Conditions at the time were clear and warm.
No other vehicle was involved.
