CLEARLAKE >> On Thursday, Cal Fire brought a detailed map of homes affected by the Sulphur Fire during a city council meeting in Clearlake.
The 2,500-acre fire caused over 100 residents of Clearlake and Clearlake Oaks to evacuate their hillside and lakeshore homes. The total number of structures destroyed, as reported by Cal Fire, was 168.
Smaller maps were printed and handed out to locals. A list of structures, including houses and businesses was provided with names and addresses.
The map highlights the damaged perimeters in red, with red marks in the shape of a house representing each structure.
The area of Gooseneck Point presented the most concentrated damage.
