LAKEPORT >> The Lakeport Christian Center (LCC) to host a free community family celebration, called Fun Fest, on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on their campus at 455 S. Forbes Street.
The event will include lots of fun games for all ages, prizes, bbq food, popcorn, giveaways, many local business gift certificate door prizes, jumpy house, face painting, cookie decorating, chili cook-off, photo booth, ping pong tournament, pie eating contest, bass fishing demo and a free afternoon of bass fishing on the lake prize, and more.
Corey Bauman and his RPP Hobby staff will present a remote control car and helicopter demo and lessons. There will be something for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to the many free giveaways there will be a raffle for a men’s and a ladies’ mountain bike. You may like to bring Thanksgiving basket food for the fire victims as these items are being collected at LCC. For more info call 263-4514 or visit www.lcchub.com.
