Before the start of the combined girls and junior varsity boys cross country race on Wednesday afternoon at Kelseyville’s final home meet of the season, seniors (from left) Laurel Weller, Yareli Lozano, Nicole Stevens and Bailey Couey were honored and presented with bouquets of flowers. All four have been with the cross country team since their freshman years. Lozano celebrated by breaking her own course record, covering the hilly 3-mile layout in 21 minutes, 19 seconds. Her old record was 21:42.
