CLEARLAKE >> On Thursday, November 2, more than 60 family members, friends and staff gathered at Meadowood Nursing Center in Clearlake to celebrate the course completion of 11 students of the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Program offered through the Lake County Office of Education (LCOE).
Tammy Serpa, Education Specialist welcomed the crowd, followed by instructors Arnell Jackson-Eagans, Mary Sharlow and Meadowood Administrator Cheryl Cole. Student speakers included Valedictorian Ashlyn Braunschweig, and students Krisandra Burrows and Mikala Welter.
Guests were treated to a wonderful spread of snacks and treats provided by the Meadowood food service staff. Upon completion of the state board exams on November 12, all graduates will be licensed Certified Nurse Assistants and eligible to enter the workforce in their profession.
