Young artist Delaney Souza and chef Robert Cabreros examine her work, now hanging in the Aromas Cafe at Woodland Community College Clear Lake Campus. The school’s Culinary Arts Club sponsored the painting as part of the Clearlake Youth Arts Project, a collaboration of the Art House Gallery and The Children’s Museum of Art and Science. So far, 11 mini-murals have been placed at businesses and other facilities in Clearlake. Cabreros is the culinary instructor at the college. – Dave Faries — Lake County Publishing
