LAKEPORT >> A Sulphur Fire benefit concert is scheduled for Saturday, February 3 at the Soper Reese Theatre in Lakeport.
From 7-10 p.m., The Guitarsonists will be rocking the blues. The band consists of three, high-energy guitarists who have played in Lake County. Chris Cain brought down the house at the 2016 Blue Wing Blues Festival, along with bass player Steve Evans and drummer Mick Mestek, who are also part of The Guitarsonists. Mighty Mike Schermer likes to include the Blue Wing Saloon on his trips from Austin, TX. He also headlined the Valley Fire Tribute Concert at Ely Stage Stop in September of 2016. Bay Area guitarist Daniel Castro has played at the Concerts in the Park in Lakeport on several occasions to great acclaim.
