The Lower Lake High School wrestling team is gearing up for another run at a Coastal Mountain Conference Championship after just falling short last season. Many of the school’s wrestlers will get their first taste of action this season on Saturday at the CMC Novice Tournament in Upper Lake and at the Faultline Duals in Larkspur. The CMC Novice begins at 9 a.m. in the Upper Lake Middle School gym. Lower Lake won back-to-back CMC titles in 2015 and 2016 before finishing second to Willits in 2017. Clear Lake, Kelseyville, Middletown and host Upper Lake also have wrestlers competing at the CMC Novice.
