CLEARLAKE >> A free boxing program for ages 8 and up begins Tuesday at the Clearlake Youth Center, 4750 Golf Ave., in Clearlake. Classes take place Tuesdays and Thursday’s from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
David Cavagna, a USA Boxing certified coach, will lead the program, one designed to boost confidence, develop discipline and motivation, and enhance motor skills.
Boxers ages 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult at all classes. All boxers will be evaluated on maturity before being accepted into the program.
The Clearlake program is part of the National P.A.L. Boxing Club.
