Silas Dancer, 6, of the Golden State Wrestling Club attended the New Year’s Bash earlier this month in Selma and won five of his six matches, including two pins. After securing third place he challenged for true second and won that match. Also wrestling for Golden State were Junior Peregrina, who went 3-2 and just missed placing when he lost to teammate Dancer in the consolation semifinals. Lexy Peregrina went 1-2 in the 82-pound boys bracket.
