FAIR OAKS >> Twenty-six members of CORE Wrestling brought home nearly two dozen medals from the Bronco WC Folkstyle Tournament held Sunday at Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks.

Four wrestlers captured their weight divisions. Jesse Saldana won the bantam division (46-48 pounds), Hailee McRae won the intermediate division (85-95 pounds), Jayden Roath won the novice division (75-85 pounds), and Brian Gudino won the middle school division (76-83 pounds).

Second-place medals went to Mason Fuchs in the pee wee division (37-43 pounds), to Abel Vargas in the bantam division (49-50 pounds), to Alexsis Castellanos in the bantam division (63-65 pounds), to Nikolai McKay in the intermediate division (65-66 pounds), to Felix Vargas in the intermediate division (85-95 pounds), to Dylan Neuharth in the novice division (52-63 pounds), to Myles Conatser in the novice division (75-80 pounds), to Mason Roath in the middle school division (84.6-94.6 pounds), and to Adam Viramontes in the middle school division (115-126 pounds).

Taking home third-place medals were Trey Thurman in the intermediate division (74-78 pounds), Hailee McRae in the intermediate division (83-89 pounds), Austin Batemon in the intermediate division (108-115 pounds), Zakai Vilmaney in the novice division (73-75 pounds), Quentin Vilmenay in the middle school division (84-91 pounds), Anthony McRae in the middle school division (89-104 pounds), and Kevin Atrisco in the middle school division (147-160 pounds).

Fourth-place finishes went to Isaiah Reyes-Clark in the pee wee division (37-43 pounds), to Laticia Sorrells Ramos in the intermediate division (62-63 pounds), to Arturo Gudino in the novice division (52-63 pounds), to Boston Heilman in the novice division (70-73 pounds), and to Troyman Cheng in the middle school division (147-160 pounds).

Amari Carr placed fifth in the pee wee division (44-50 pounds).

CORE wrestlers travel to the East Bay Challenge on Sunday at Acalanes High School in Lafayette.
