Two Lake County Martial Arts students returned from a Golden State Karate Association tournament in Redding on Saturday with trophies. Maddyn Hossack, 10, of Kelseyville finished second in forms and fourth in sparring while Kayla Ward, 27, of Clearlake came in second in sparring. Both are students of Fred Langston. Lake County Martial Arts is located at 1624 Parallel Drive in Lakeport.
