LAKEPORT >> The Lake County Library will host two showings of a program on climate change in February.

Shelly Ryan of the Climate Reality Project will be the speaker for a PowerPoint presentation dubbed “Climate Change: A Call to Action” on climate change and sustainability.

Both presentations, aimed at adults and teens, are free and open to the public.

The first presentation will take place on Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. at the Lakeport branch of Lake County Library located at 1425 N. High St.

An encore presentation will happen on Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. at the Middletown branch library, 21256 Washington St.

Ryan holds a BA in Restoration Ecology and an MA in Museum Education. She has conceived and presented environmental, natural history and climate change programs for over fifteen years at major museums throughout California. She has participated in the Climate Leader Training program given by the Climate Reality Project founder, former Vice President Al Gore.
