Upper Lake High School four-year wrestling veteran Christina Wilson was honored during the Cougars’ final home match of the Coastal Mountain Conference season on Wednesday night in Upper Lake. While there’s plenty of wrestling still to come for Wilson this season before she calls it a career, the standout 131-pounder received plenty of kind words, a bouquet of flowers and a few momentos prior to participating in her last match at the Upper Lake gym. Wilson finished third in the state a year ago after winning a North Coast Section title. Wilson helped Upper Lake beat Fort Bragg 30-24 by picking up a forfeit victory.
