VACAVILLE >> CORE Wrestling sent 17 of its members to the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre on Sunday and they brought home 11 medals, which were awarded to the top three finishers in all weight classes.

Bringing home first-place medals were Jayden Roath in the novice 78-80-pound bracket and Mason Roath in the middle school 83-86-pound bracket.

Second-place medals went to Arturo Gudino in the novice 52-57-pound bracket, Myles Conatser in the novice 77-79-pound bracket, Nick Celli in the novice 92-94-pound bracket, Quentin Vilmenay in the middle school 86-91-pound bracket, and Adam Viramontes in the middle school 120-126-pound bracket.

Third-place medals went to Mason Fuchs in the pee wee 37-39-pound bracket, to Jesse Saldana-Rivera in the bantam 47-50-pound bracket, to Alexsis Castellanos in the bantam 61-69-pound bracket, and to Dylan Neuharth in the novice 61-63-pound bracket.

Earning fourth-place finishes were Nikolai McKay in the intermediate 65-70-pound bracket, Boston Heilman in the novice 69-72-pound bracket, and Troyman Cheng in the middle school 144-155-pound bracket.

Fifth-place finishes went to Isaiah Reyes-Clark in the pee wee 41-45-pound bracket and to Amari Carr in the pee wee 43-50-pound bracket.

CORE members hit the road Sunday to compete in the SAWA GB Grapplers State Prep at Natomas High School in Sacramento.
