LAKE COUNTY >> The county recently released a list of vacancies on 19 advisory boards and commissions.
Assistant Clerk to the Board of Supervisors Carolyn Purdy said all vacancies are coutywide unless stated. All memberships on the above referenced advisory boards are voluntary. Contact the Clerk of the Board at 263-2368 for questions regarding a vacancy on one of the openings. Applications are available at the Lake County Courthouse, Clerk of the Board Office, Room 109, 255 North Forbes St., Lakeport or online at www.co.lake.ca.gov on the Board of Supervisors page.
Animal Control Advisory Board: Four (4) vacancies — Supervisorial District 2, District 3, District 5 and Member-at-Large
Big Valley Groundwater Management Zone Commission: Seven (7) vacancies — one (1) Member-at-Large, four (4) Agriculture Users category, and two (2) Water District category
Building Board of Appeals: Five (5) vacancies — Supervisorial District 1, District 2, District 3, District 4, and District 5
Child Care Planning and Development Council: Seven (7) vacancies — Two (2) Consumer, one (1) Public Agency, one (1) Community Representative, two (2) Discretionary Appointee, and one (1) Child Care Provider
Countywide Parks and Recreation Advisory Board: Five (5) vacancies — one (1) representative from Supervisorial Districts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
Emergency Medical Care Committee: Nine (9) vacancies — one (1) Community College District, one (1) California Highway Patrol Representative, two (2) EMT Representative, one (1) Private Ambulance Company, one (1) Fire Department, and three (3) Consumer Interest Group
Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee: One (1) vacancy — Supervisorial District 2
Heritage Commission: Seven (7) vacancies — one (1) representative from each Supervisorial District, and two (2) Member-at-Large
In Home Support Services Public Authority Advisory Committee: Eight (8) vacancies — four (4) Senior Consumer, one (1) Disabled Community Representative, two (2) Provider and one (1) Senior Community Representative
Kelseyville Cemetery District: Two (2) vacancies — General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)
Library Advisory Board: Two (2) vacancies — Supervisorial District 2 and District 3
Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Advisory Board: Two (2) vacancies — General Membership
Mental Health Board: Three (3) vacancies — one (1) Member-at-Large, one (1) Family Member of a Present/Past Consumer and one (1) Consumer Member
North Bay Cooperative Library Advisory Board: One (1) Lake County Representative
Public Defender Oversight Committee: One (1) vacancy — one (1) Member of the General Public
Solid Waste Appeals Panel: Two (2) vacancies — one (1) Public Member and one (1) Technical Expert
Solid Waste Task Force: Two (2) vacancies — One (1) Public Representative and one (1) Other
Upper Lake Cemetery District: One (1) vacancy — General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)
Western Region Town Hall (WRTH): One (1) vacancy — Member at Large
