Last Saturday at Kelseyville Lumber, the Lakeport Police Department raised money for today’s Lake County Polar Plunge. Residents paid for a chance to dunk Police Chief Brad Rasmussen into the chilly waters, which he did several times. The 2018 Lake County Polar Plunge fundraiser, for the Special Olympics, is a family-friendly event where residents can dive into the lake for a good cause.
