Rainfall did not stop about a thousand students from around the county to gather at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeport for Ag & Natural Resources Day, a hands-on learning experience for children to learn about where they live and all-things agriculture. Many had the chance to see sheepdog trials (pictured), learn about recycling and Lake County insects, and pet several farm animals.
