Andrew Loberg of Rocklin holds up his No. 81 blast-off card after signing up for the 31st annual Clear Lake Team Tournament on Friday afternoon at the Lake County Chamber of Commerce office in Lakeport. Friday was the last day to sign up for the two-day tourney, which opens at first safe light on Saturday morning and wraps up Sunday. The tourney features a 100-percent payback of entry fees and the winner, based on a field of at least 100 boats, is expected to receive in the neighborhood of $5,000. The field was up to 82 teams and fishermen were still in the process of signing up as of late Friday afternoon. Loberg has placed in the money before and said this is his fourth appearance in the tournament. He’s fishing with partner Rudy Directo of McKinleyville this year. Loberg has made a handful of trips to Clear Lake to prefish for the tournament. “I think the weights will be a little lower this year,” Loberg said. Weigh-ins both days take place at 3 p.m. at Konocti Vista Casino.
