CLEARLAKE OAKS >> A Clearlake Oaks man was arrested after the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit located several grams of methamphetamine and paraphernalia in his possession.

The man, identified as 61-year-old Willie Travis Pardee Jr., is charged with felony possession for sales of methamphetamine, keeping a place to sell controlled substances, manufacturing controlled substances and possessing chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine.

The charges stem from an incident on March 16 when Pardee and several others were detained inside of a trailer located on the 400 block of Schindler Street in Clearlake Oaks after the Narcotics Unit served a search warrant.

During the trailer search, detectives found 39 grams of methamphetamine, .35 grams of heroin and 425 grams of processed marijuana with scales, packaging material and indicia of narcotics sales. Detectives also located chemicals and glassware associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine while searching a closet inside the trailer.

LCSO investigators reported that, upon closer inspection, it was determined that the chemicals and glassware were recently used for manufacturing the drugs.

With the assistance of Lakeshore Fire and County of Lake Community Development Department, detectives processed and removed the methamphetamine manufacturing material from the residence.

Pardee has a bail set at $50,000 and is expected to appear in court today.
