Upper Lake High School pitcher Katlyn Minnis tags out Clear Lake’s Joy Ingalls while covering homeplate during non-league softball action Tuesday afternoon in Upper Lake. Clear Lake had a 9-2 lead when the game was called because of rain in the bottom of the third inning. The Cougars are scheduled to hit the road Thursday to play Willits if the weather allows. Clear Lake’s next game is Friday against Eureka High School in Eureka, part of an overnight trip for the Cardinals who play St. Bernard’s on Saturday, also in Eureka.
