LAKEPORT >> The Lake County Arts Council hosts 26 performances from ballet to belly dance, to point, hip-hop and theater as part of “Come Alive.” The 37th annual Spring Dance Festival hits the stage at the Soper Reese Theatre on April 7 at 7 p.m. and April 8 at 2 p.m.
“Come Alive” from the show “The Greatest Showman” is the theme for the 2018 dance festival, and the Lake County Arts Council welcomes Courtney Conkle as the creative director and all the in between details that it takes to bring this amazing show of dancing talent to the stage.
This 37th Annual Dance Festival would not be possible without the partnering of Antoinette’s School of Dance, Michelle Smith’s Clear Lake Clickers, Briana Rojas, Sheila LaVine and so many other talented dancers. The 2018 Spring Dance Festival will also feature numbers from five graduating seniors. Always an exciting event, this year’s show may be the best ever.
